What I Ordered from Amazon in March 2024

It was a semi-heavy month for Amazon orders between shopping for birthdays, Easter, and our Disney trip.  Are y’all ready to see what I bought?  Let’s dig right in!

Ruffle Tank

Y’ALL!!!!  THIS TANK.  I am in love.  I don’t even know how I stumbled upon it, but the moment I saw it, it was true love.  It’s like my beloved Target tanks with a little bit of pizazz.  Those ruffle sleeves and ruffled neckline make for the cutest top, dressing up an otherwise plain ol’ tank.  I plan to pair this with literally everything – jeans, jean shorts, my high-waisted Amazon skirts that I love so much, and any other bottoms in my closet that it would look cute with.  The fabric is medium weight… it’s not too thin and it’s not too thick.  It’s well-made – not cheap like some things you get from Amazon – and it comes in a whole rainbow of colors, several of which I have included on my birthday wish list because I truly just want all of them.  Ha!  They fit true to size… I ordered a small and it’s perfect.  And the best part – you can wear them with a regular bra!  Amen.

Monogrammed Patch Belt Bag

Olivia has been carrying belt bags everywhere for the last few months, so I bought this one to put in her Easter basket.  It comes in several different colors with different colors of patches available.  She was thrilled for this one!

New Morning Mercies Devotional by Paul David Tripp

I’ve been raving about this devotional since the beginning of the year, and it’s so good that I decided to gift it to a friend for her birthday.  She told me she has had it on her wish list, so I’m excited for her to dig into it.

Under Armour Swim Trunks

After failing to find some good Cat & Jack swim trunks for Jacob this year, I headed to Amazon to see what they had, and y’all, I had NO CLUE that UA made swim trunks!  Jacob loves UA athletic shorts – he lives in them when he’s not in his school uniform – so I couldn’t grab these fast enough.  After receiving them, though, I noticed that they fit a little baggier than their standard athletic shorts, and Jacob is so slim, so I don’t think that these are going to work for him.  It’s a shame, though, because they’re so nice!  And they come in a TON of different colors and patterns.

Children’s Place Swim Trunks

I wasn’t sure how the fit would be for the UA swim trunks, so I also grabbed this pair from Children’s Place so I could compare the two and decide which ones to keep.  I love the pattern on these, and they offer a much slimmer fit, so we ended up deciding to keep these for him instead.  They’re much less expensive than the UA swim trunks, too, so that was a bonus.

Necklace Extenders

If you’ve ever had a necklace with a chain that’s too short, did you know that you can buy necklace extenders to make them longer?  I’ve been using these for years, but the only ones I had prior to this were silver, so I grabbed some gold ones to extend a couple of the necklaces I’ve been wearing lately.  They work beautifully.  They come in different lengths, and the set I bought includes a one-inch, a two-inch, and a three-inch extender.

Baby Yoda Dress

We bought this dress for Olivia for our Disney trip back in 2022, and it has been one of her favorite dresses to wear ever since.  She has recently outgrown it since she’s shot up in height, so she was crushed when I told her it was too short to wear on our Disney trip this year.  Luckily, Amazon still carries it, and they have it in larger sizes, so we were able to buy it for her in the next size up, and she’ll be able to wear it in Hollywood Studios again.  She was so excited!  It’s a licensed product, too, so the quality is excellent, and the price is actually very reasonable.  It’s way less expensive than I thought it would be!

Gold Glitter Sandals

These sandals are the GOAT!!!!  This is the third year in a row that we’ve purchased them for Olivia!  They are high-quality, they are comfortable (and not stiff like so many others), they don’t slip on her heels, and the strap is Velcro (rather than a buckle) which makes it so much easier to get them on and off.  They are also beautiful, and they go with pretty much everything.  She has outgrown her pair from last year, so we replaced them with these.  And the best part is that they hold up so well over time that I’m able to resell them on Poshmark after she outgrows them!  I highly, highly recommend these!  They come in toddler sizes through girls’ sizes.

Taylor Swift Nightgown

Olivia has been begging for TS pajamas, but I searched the internet high and low for her birthday, and I couldn’t find anything decent.  She decided that she wanted to look for some to spend her birthday money, and after scouring the internet, she decided on this nightgown, and the one below.  The designs on them are not great – they’re very cartoony – but Olivia LOVES them, so that’s all that matters.  Plus, she likes the fabric on these because it’s so thin and soft.  I personally don’t love the fabric on these for pajamas because it’s almost like an athletic fabric, but she loves it.

Taylor Swift Nightgown #2

She also used her birthday money to purchase this one, and she loves it just as much as the other one.  It’s made of the same fabric as the other one, and she has been living in these since she got them.

Taylor Swift Straw Covers

I had wanted to get some of these to put in Olivia’s Easter basket, but she wanted some as soon as possible, so she decided to use some of her own money to buy this set.  Obviously, we threw out the ones that were inappropriate, but she has been using all of the other ones nonstop for her Stanley cup since she got them.  They’re actually really cute and well made, and I was pleased with them.  I honestly thought they were going to be junky and need to be returned, but they’re great!  They fit traditional-sized straws as well as the larger Stanley straws.  They have to be stretched around the Stanley straws a bit, but they are so stretchy that it’s really easy to do… a non-issue for sure!

Hope in the Dark by Craig Groeschel

I have really been struggling mentally with this ongoing vertigo and dizziness, so I have been trying to fill my heart and brain with as much positivity as possible.  I read Craig Groeschel’s book Winning the War in Your Mind and it was one of the best books I’ve ever read, so when this book popped up in my recommendations, I decided to grab it.  I’m actually the type of person who feels closer and more drawn to God during hard times rather than one of those people who pushes Him away, so I’m not doubting God’s goodness during this time in my life at all.  But after seeing that the book was by Craig Groeschel, and after reading the reviews, I thought it would be a good read anyway.  I haven’t started it – I’m taking a break from non-fiction for now, aside from my Bible study – but I’m sure I’ll get to it soon-ish and I’ll report back.

Taylor Swift Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) CD

I thought Olivia had TS’s entire music catalog, but she informed me recently that she didn’t have Speak Now, so I grabbed this for her Easter basket.

Weird But True – Disney!

Did we need this book?  No.  Do the kids love these Weird But True books?  YES.  When I saw that they had a Disney version, did I impulsively buy it for the car ride down to Orlando?  YES.

Disney Princess Mad Libs

Our kids LOVE Mad Libs, so I grabbed this Disney Princess version to do in the car on the way there and back.

Star Wars Droids Mad Libs

And I bought this version since Jacob probably won’t be as interested in the Disney Princess version.

Sussed? Card Game

I’ve mentioned this card game on the blog before because we bought it for Jacob for Christmas.  It’s such a fun game because it’s a great way to see how well you know each other and to get to know each other.  There are different decks with different themes, so I grabbed this “Funny Things and Goofy Stuff” deck for Jacob’s Easter basket because I can’t think of a better theme for him.

Kanoodle

I literally know nothing about this game/puzzle other than what I saw on Amazon, but it looks really cool, and it looks like something Jacob would love, so I bought it to include in his Easter basket.

American Sign Language for Beginners Book

Jacob has been really into ASL for the last couple of years (I don’t know if I’ve even mentioned that here on the blog before) and he loves to borrow my old ASL book from when I was young.  (I went through a phase where I worked on learning ASL in middle school!)  My book is literally 30 years old, so it’s probably a bit outdated, so I thought I’d buy an updated ASL book for him.  Our high school offers ASL as a foreign language, and students are required to take two years of a foreign language, and he is already saying that he will likely want to take ASL.  Since he’s already so interested in it, it definitely doesn’t hurt for him to go ahead and get a head start!  This went in his Easter basket.

Foldology Origami Challenge

Jacob has also been suuuuper into origami for months now, and he is creating the most elaborate things I have ever seen.  This set is not just any origami, though, it’s an actual origami challenge and it ranges from easy to expert, so I think he’ll really love this.  This was another purchase for his Easter basket!

Lego 3-In-1 Set

This was yet another purchase for Jacob’s Easter basket.  He still loves LEGO, so I thought this 3-in-1 set would be a great choice for him.  I love that it’s Easter themed, but that there are other options since he probably won’t want to build the bunny.  I’m betting he’ll build the seal!

Rainbow Loom Refills

Olivia is utterly obsessed with the Rainbow Loom that we gave her for her birthday, and she has been using it nonstop, so I thought she might like this set of rubber bands since they’re all different than the ones she has.  This set also comes with a different tool to make different things, so I’m sure she’ll like having that, too.  This was a purchase for her Easter basket.

Bundt Cake Pan

I bought a silicone bundt cake pan a couple of years ago, and I haven’t been a huge fan of it.  It’s too wiggly getting the cakes in and out of the oven, and it also doesn’t cook the cakes evenly in my oven.  In order for my cakes to cook all the way through, they end up getting burned on the top.  So, I decided to go back to a traditional bundt cake pan.  This one is by a reputable brand that we use in our kitchen frequently, and it has top-notch reviews.

Nature Made Kids Vitamins

The kids have been taking these daily multi-vitamins for years, and it was time for a refill!  I love that these have Omega-3 for their brain development!

Xyzal

I take this year-round since my allergies are so awful, and right now the pollen is just off the chain, so I need it more than ever.  It was time for a refill and Amazon always has it for the best price!  This works worlds better than Claritin or any of the other OTC allergy medications for me!

Dentastix

Maui gets one of these every evening for a little treat, and they help keep the tartar at bay on her teeth.  It was time for a refill, so I grabbed this pack!

Amazon Gift Card

This was purchased to accompany the devotional that I bought for my friend for her birthday.  I love that Amazon always has the prettiest gift card packaging for no extra cost!

Happy Monday, y’all!
