Five on Friday - June Goals

Today I’m recapping my May goals and listing my June goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals.  I’m also revamping my categories starting in June, and you can read on about that information below…


May Goals

Relationships

Y  Go on a date with B. – we went on two, dinner and a Shakey Graves concert + dinner and an Abe Parker concert

Y  Have dinner with my girlfriends.

Y  Have a poker night with friends.

 

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, prayer journal, and affirmations every day.

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 15 days. – I closed them all 15 times

N  Aim to average 10,000/steps per day. – I averaged 7,224

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Go to my orthodontist checkup.

Y  Go to my allergist checkup.

Y  Get hair cut and highlighted before the beach.

Y  Read 1 book. – I read two!

 

Family/School/Fun

Y  Jacob attend his last middle school field trip.

Y  Assist with Teacher Appreciation Week.

Y  Assist with Field Day (assuming it doesn’t rain).

Y  See Shakey Graves in concert!

Y  Jacob wrap up Velocity for the school year.

X  Olivia attend a birthday sleepover. – This was canceled to due sickness.

Y  See Abe Parker in concert!!!!

X  Attend the last Home & School Advisory Board meeting of the school year. – They canceled it and made it an email instead, which I really appreciated with all that we had going on.  Haha.

Y  Attend Olivia’s recital rehearsal.

Y  Attend Olivia’s 5th Grade Walk.

Y  Jacob attend his 8th grade dance.

Y  Attend Olivia’s recital dress rehearsal.

Y  Attend Olivia’s recital productions x 2.

Y  Olivia attend her last elementary school field trip.

Y  Attend Jacob’s 8th Grade Graduation Mass and Awards Ceremony.

Y  Attend Olivia’s end-of-year class party.

Y  Celebrate the last day of school!

Y  RELAX and BREATHE when it’s all done.

Y  Leave for the beach!!!!

Y  Make a summer bucket list with the kids.

N  Work on our puzzle.

 

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Deep clean the whole house before the kids get out of school.

Y  Purchase and wrap teacher appreciation gifts.

Y  Prep for Mother’s Day.

Y  Get kids’ Oh the Places You’ll Go books signed.

Y  Prep and pack for Olivia’s rehearsals and recitals.

Y  Prep and plan Olivia’s end-of-year class party.

Y  Finish transferring all students to new alumni database.

Y  Prep and pack for our beach trip.

N  Finish styling my new record player stand.

Y  Refresh all plants indoors, take two.

Y  Get new rug in place in primary bedroom.

N  Clean out living room, take two.

N  Finish cleaning out kitchen.

Y  Clean out Jacob’s bedroom.

Y  Clean out Olivia’s bedroom.

Y  Clean out the play room… again.

Y  Wash kids’ backpacks.

Y  Photograph art from the school year and file keepsakes in boxes.

Y  See what the kids need for summer (clothes, swimsuits, shoes, etc.) and purchase.

Now for the June goals… and this month I am revamping my categories a little bit.  Having a “Relationships” category and a “Family” category has a lot of overlap, and many things could fall into either category.  In addition to that, I’ve been wanting to have a category just for “Fun” stuff, so I’m changing a few things to make the categories more concise.
