Five on Friday - April Goals

Today I’m recapping my March goals and listing my April goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals.


 

March Goals

Relationships

N  Go on a date with Brian.

Y  Hang out with my girlfriends.

Y  Have a poker night with friends.

Y  Have lunch with an old coworker.

Y  Go to a movie with Momma.

 

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

N  Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, and affirmations every day. – One evening we had kids spend the night and I was so out of my routine that I totally dropped the ball on meditating.  :o(  Then one other night I started the meditation just before midnight and since it finished after midnight, it appears as if I missed that day, too.  Boooo.  I lost my streak and it was hundreds of days long.  :o(

Y  Drink 64 oz. water most days. 

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 20 days. – I closed them all 22 times.

Y  Aim to average 8,000/steps per day. – I averaged 8,447!

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Visit with my primary doctor for a vertigo follow-up.

Y  Visit with my orthodontist for a follow-up.

Y  Complete 28 days of The Bible Recap. – I completed exactly 28.

Y  Read 1 book. – I read two.

 

Family/School/Fun

Y  Take Olivia to a specialist for the issues she’s been having off and on for a year.

Y  Attend the Home and School Advisory Board meeting.

Y  Decorate and chaperone for the Mother/Son dance.

N  Attend a St. Patrick’s Day party at our friends’ house. – We had a sick kid so we had to skip this year.  :o(

Y  Attend the Home and School Association open meeting.

Y  Observe Lent.

Y  Attend my friend’s conversion to Catholicism.

Y  Celebrate Easter.

 

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Finish planning the Mother/Son dance.

Y  Plan and shop for Easter.

Y  Plan and shop for our Disney trip!

Y  Pack for Disney!

N  Fill out Emergency Card on iPhone (I just learned that this exists!!)

Y  Clean out kitchen. – I didn’t quite finish this, but I did about 90% of it, so we’re calling it a win for the month!

N  Clean out dining room.

N  Work on cleaning out the storage closet.

N  Develop pictures for frames.

Y  Update album artwork for at least 100 albums in iTunes.

Y  Finish putting together health and medical spreadsheet.

Y  Start catching up on backing up photos on computer. – I finished this!

N  List more clothes on Poshmark.

N  Work on at least 1 task on Master To Do List.

 

Blog/Social Media

Y  Stay ahead on the blog by at least a couple of days.

Y  Complete 1 blog post for the future.

Y  Share at least 1 Reel on Instagram.

Complete 22 days of The Bible Recap. (This is low because of our Disney trip!)

Attend the Rosary for our school President who is retiring.

Attend Olivia’s Easter egg hunt at school.

Attend the Home and School Advisory Board meeting.

Download Taylor Swift’s new album!!  EEK!

Start planning the end-of-year 7th/8th grade dance.

Plants herbs and flowers.

Clean off the back porch.

Pressure wash the driveway and sidewalk (if we can find a pressure washer).

Deep clean our shower.

Fill out Emergency Card on iPhone, take 2.

Friday Funnies

Except I was probably 15 and it would have been Mountain Dew Code Red. Hahahaha

One of my BFFs who I met working at the movie theater sent this to me the other day - accurate

Booking flights, paying credit card bills, booking hotels... anything important gets the laptop treatment

Isn't this what everybody does?!  Hahahaha

Literally every.single.guy when I was in high school.  I can still smell the Cool Water. And I actually still love that scent.  Haha.

  1. Great job on your goals! I don't even think I have kept most of my medical records.. I hold onto our visit summaries for a year or so and then shred them. Then hope for the best when visiting a new doctor and having to fill out any medical histories! LOL. I'm not all that sure they ever read them anyway...
