Five on Friday - December Goals

This week has been a good one – not overly hectic, productive on the blog and home front, and not stressful at all.  We have a pretty slow weekend on tap, too, and I’m not mad about that either.  I have an adjustment with my upper cervical chiropractor this morning which means I’ll have to take it easy this weekend, and I cannot wait to be lazy tonight and aaaallll day tomorrow. 

We do have somewhere to be this evening, but it should be quick, and then I’m hoping we’ll have time to watch a Christmas movie.  Then, tomorrow, we get to watch Georgia play in the SEC Championship game, which means we won’t be leaving the house.  It’s supposed to be bitter cold and rainy all day, so it’ll be the perfect day to hole up at home, turn on all the Christmas lights, stay in pjs all day, and order takeout.  Amen.   

Today I’m recapping my November goals and listing my December goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 


November Goals

Personal Health / Wellness / Fitness / Beauty

Y  Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, and prayer journal as much as possible.

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 10 days. – I closed all of them 12 times.

Y  Aim to average 5,000 steps per day. – I averaged 6,977.

Y  Go see the upper cervical chiropractor for a checkup.

Y  Go to my second to last orthodontist appointment.

Y  Visit with my therapist.

 

Appointments / Meetings / Other Requirements

Y  Jacob continue working on tasks for Confirmation later this year.

Y  Go to jury duty.  Boooo.

Y  Jacob follow up with the dermatologist.

Y  Take my car for maintenance.

 

Home / Organization / Planning

Y  Put away all fall and Halloween decorations.

Y  Decorate house for Christmas.

Y  Order Christmas cards.

Y  Address and stamp Christmas cards to have ready to be mailed on 12/1.

Y  Get a lot of Christmas shopping done.

N  Clean off back porch.

Y  Get my 2026 planner prepped and ready.

N  Pay HOA dues for 2026.

Y  Work on cleaning out and organizing my List Master app.

N  Work on updating album artwork in iTunes.

Y  List more items to sell. – I sold my old DSLR camera + all of Olivia’s Barbie stuff.

  3. You knocked out so many goals, friend!! Every time I see your Apple rings I'm reminded that I need to really start making sure I'm hitting those goals. And by the way, just to give you a laugh, I literally just realized as I'm typing this comment that I've been wearing my watch all morning and I never actually turned it on. Ugh haha, I'm the worst!!
