Five on Friday - August Goals

Today I’m recapping my July goals and listing my August goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals.

July Goals

Personal Health / Wellness / Fitness / Beauty

Y  Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, prayer journal, and affirmations every day.

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 13 days. – I closed them 20 times!

Y  Aim to average 7,000/steps per day. – I averaged 7,538.  Most days, I hit 10,000, but days when I had adjustments, I would barely hit 3,000, so that sunk my average.

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Continue seeing the upper cervical chiropractor for adjustments and get new scans.

Y  Go to my orthodontist for what I hope is one of my final checkups.

Appointments / Meetings / Other Requirements

Y  Jacob start working on tasks for Confirmation later this year.

Y  Lindsay volunteer at the ice cream social for new families joining our school this year.

Y  Jacob attend freshman orientation at school.

Y  Lindsay attend high school new parent orientation at school.

Y  Kids finish summer homework.

Home / Organization / Planning

Y  Plan and shop for Jacob’s birthday.

Y  Finish purchasing everything the kids need for school.

Y  Finish updating my medical and health spreadsheet.

Y  Back up recent photos/videos on external hard drives and Amazon Drive.

Y  Clean out the dining room.

Y  Start cleaning out the closet under the stairs. – I did the whole thing!

Y  Hang a hook in the garage to store our large cooler.

Y  Clean out the garage.

Y  Plant new basil.

N  Finish styling my new record player stand. – I worked on it a little, but didn’t finish.

Y  List more items to sell. – I listed and sold a ton of stuff.

Y  Drop donations at outreach.

Blog / Social Media

Y  Share some Amazon Prime Day Deals on Instagram.

Y  Continue catching up on end-of-year blog post. – I caught up on four whole months!

Y  Continue catching up on posting links to blog pages. – I caught up on a couple of months.

N  Start working on backlog of old Reels I never posted. – Not me neglecting my Reels yet again.  Hahahaha.
