What I Ordered from Amazon in October 2025

Hey, y’all!  Happy Monday!  It’s a new month which means it’s time to see what I ordered from Amazon in the previous month.  Last month, it was all about Halloween!  I’d wanted to do some Christmas shopping during Prime Day, but we were traveling during the Prime Day event, so I ended up purchasing just two things during the sale.  Let’s get to it!

Halloween Belt Bag

We always purchase something small for the kids for Halloween – when they were little, it was always a Halloween themed book or Halloween PJs, and as they got older, it was typically the Halloween Lego set for the year.  Olivia has outgrown all those things (*tear*) so I wasn’t sure what to get her this year.  I stumbled upon this belt bag, and I knew it would be perfect since she carries one so often.  Her face lit up when we gave it to her, and she told me it’s her favorite Halloween gift she’s ever received.  :o)  It comes in black and white, but I like the white one better, and Olivia said that she’s glad I went with white, too.  It was on sale for just $9.99 when I bought it, and now the price has dipped even lower since Halloween is over… perfect time to buy and stash away for next year!

Lego 3-in-1 Set

As I stated previously, the official Halloween Lego set for the year is one of the items usually purchased for the kids for Halloween, but Lego didn’t release the 2025 set to any other sellers, and I didn’t want to pay for shipping on the Lego website, so I just decided to find another Lego set for Jacob that was small and Halloween themed.  This 3-in-1 set is awesome because you can make three different items with just one set – a spider, a scorpion, and a snake.  The set is also on super sale right now.

Two Headed Halloween Costume

Spirit Halloween canceled our order for Jacob’s original choice for Halloween costume, so we had to scramble at the last minute to find something else.  He chose something else first (down below), but he didn’t love it, so we sent it back and he went with this one instead.  Y’all, this costume – OMG – it is SO creepy.  Haha.  Jacob ended up loving it and he received extra candy at several houses because everyone told him to take extra for his second head.  Hahahaha.

Hermoine Costume

Olivia is currently in her Harry Potter era, so she wanted to be Hermoine this year.  We ordered her costume from Spirit Halloween (they didn’t have it in stock at our store), and they ended up canceling our order stating that they didn’t have it in stock.  By the time they canceled our order, there was only one week until Halloween, so we had to scour the internet to find another one.  While you would think it would be easy to find a Hermoine costume, they ended up being sold out everywhere (or they would arrive after Halloween), so we ended up finding and ordering this one from Amazon.  This one is excellent quality, and it fits Olivia perfectly.  Crisis averted.  Also, lesson learned – don’t bother to purchase anything from Spirit Halloween online in the month of October because apparently, they don’t keep track of their stock, and they will allow you to order something from their website even if it is sold out only to notify you an entire week later.  I still can’t believe they canceled both of the kids’ costumes even though we ordered them in mid-October.

Hermoine Time Turner Necklace

The best part of the Hermoine costume is the time turner necklace (according to Olivia, anyway), and the costume we ordered didn’t come with one, so we ordered this one separately.  It’s cute and the middle physically turns, so Olivia loved that.

Halloween Costume

After Jacob’s costume got canceled by Spirit Halloween, he chose this one from Amazon, but he ended up not loving it because it was a bit too tight and he didn’t like that the brand name was on the butt.  Haha.  So, we sent this one back.  And I’m glad we did because the two-headed costume was definitely one of his best ones of all time!

Athletic Skirt

I own this athletic skirt in several different colors because I love it SO MUCH and I wear it constantly during the summer.  It has built-in shorts and it’s super comfy and cool, and it’s cute and stylish and makes you feel put together, but you can also work out in it.  So versatile!  I’ve wanted it in white for years, so I finally bought one when it was on sale for Prime Day.  These run slightly small, so I would say to size up one size.

Athletic Socks

When I bought my On Clouds, the salesperson warned me that they do come up a little higher on the back of the ankle than most athletic shoes, so he recommended getting ankle socks with a heel tab, so my no-show socks don’t creep down while I’m walking.  He recommended Bombas or Feetures, but after a quick glance online, I saw that those are both $18-$20 PER PAIR – WHAT?!  I immediately turned to Amazon to find some dupes, and sure enough, I found these – and you get SIX pairs for just slightly more than the price of ONE pair of Bombas or Feetures.  While I would love to support a small business, I cannot afford to spend $150 on SOCKS.  These socks are ahhhhmazing, though, y’all.  They have slight compression, so they provide great arch support (which is great for me since I have deep arches), and the targeted compression zones promote blood circulation and relieve foot fatigue.  They have a cushioned sole, but they’re not too thick, and the heel tab prevents slippage and protects the Achillies tendon.  They are breathable and comfortable and just overall fantastic, and I promptly threw out all my old running socks after finding these.  I needed some new ones anyway!

Shoelaces

The only thing I didn’t love about the On Clouds was that they had fixed laces, meaning that they can’t be loosened or untied… you just slip the shoe on.  Well, I occasionally have swelling issues, especially on my left foot since it broke and healed wrong years ago, so I like to be able to adjust my laces as some days my feet are larger if they’re swelling.  I came across these laces on Amazon and everyone in the reviews stated that they’re perfect for On Clouds because they have the same flat, thin, stretchy design.  They come in different colors and lengths, and sure enough, the 47-inch white laces look perfect on my new shoes and it’s so nice to be able to adjust them as needed depending on how my feet are feeling that day.  These laces are high quality, affordable, and I highly recommend them!

Working Hands Lotion

I put this lotion on my hands every single night before bed and it was time for a refill.  I purposely waited until Prime Day to order it because it always goes on sale, and I bought this two-pack.  Since I waited so long to order, I was out of it for a couple of weeks, so I used Gold Bond lotion instead, and it was crazy how dry my hands got while I was out of the Working Hands lotion.  While using the Gold Bond, my hands were dry all day the next day and they even reached a point where they started getting chafed in one spot.  But once I started using my Working Hands lotion again, my hands went back to feeling nice and moisturized all day.  This stuff is amazing!!

Minions T-Shirt

The kids had HOCO spirit week in October, and Jacob had to dress up like a Minion one of the days, so we bought this t-shirt for him.  We’ll be saving it in case they ever do any kind of Minions theme in the future.

K-Pop Demon Hunters Shirt

My niece had a birthday in October, and she’s obsessed with K-Pop Demon Hunters like most kids are right now, so I bought this t-shirt for her along with the stickers below.  This is an officially licensed shirt (finally, some licensed merch!), and it comes in a ton of colors as well as adult and child sizes.

K-Pop Demon Hunters Stickers

These aren’t officially licensed, but the set is really cute, so we bought them for my niece as well.

Happy Monday, y’all!
