Hey, y’all! Happy Tuesday! The kids are officially back at school after 17.5 glorious days off, and although it’ll be nice to get back into some semblance of a routine, I wasn’t quite ready to let go of this Christmas break. It was such a good one. Today is Amazon day, so I’m sharing what I purchased in the month of December…
Ugg Ankle Boots Dupes
I’ve been wanting some casual, warm boots that I can throw on with leggings for
a long time, so I grabbed these Dream Pairs Ugg dupes when they went on a
lightning deal right after Christmas. I
love them SO much. For just a fraction
of the cost of the Uggs, these are nearly identical to the Ugg boots. They’re comfy, they’re warm, as the insides
are fully lined with faux fur, and they’re easy to slip on and off. I own another pair of shoes by Dream Pairs,
and they have held up beautifully over time, so I’m hoping these boots will,
too. These even came with ribbons that
you can tie on the back loop! Seriously
the cutest! I purchased my true boot
size (I always size up a full size for boots) and they fit perfectly.
Head / Ear Warmer Headband
I do a lot of walking and jogging, and I’m determined to continue this winter
even when it’s super cold outside. I
purchased this two-pack of fleece head and ear warmers, and they are perfect
for keeping warm on my walks even when my hair is pulled up. These headbands are soft, stretchy, comfy,
and cute, and they are super thin, but somehow still extremely warm. I’ve worn mine multiple times already and I
love them SO much. These will get a ton
of use this winter!
Ninja
Blender
I’ve had the same Ninja Blender for 15+ years and I use it daily. Mine started acting up a couple of months ago, and I could tell it was on its way out, so I went ahead and bought a replacement when it was on super sale at Christmas time. I love my Ninja Blender so much because it comes with individual blending cups so I can just blend my smoothies directly in my cup and take them on the go… that way I don’t have to use the big, bulky main blender every day. This newer version has larger blending cups, too, so I can fit more spinach in each smoothie than I used to. I’ve been using this new one daily for about a month and I love it SO MUCH. All the parts are dishwasher safe, too, which is a necessity for me.
Rug
Our rug in our living room needed replacing (note to self – never ever buy another shag rug), and we love the rug in our bedroom so much that we decided to purchase the same one for the living room. The space in our living room requires a square rug and those are so hard to find, so I was thrilled that this one came in the exact size that we needed… and for an excellent price, too. The brand is also a trusted brand that we use throughout the house and the quality is excellent. We haven’t put the rug down yet, but I’m hoping to get that done this month.
Called by
Name Devotional
A new year calls for a new devotional, and I grabbed this one for 2026. Each day provides a Bible verse, a devotional (all written by different women), a short prayer for the day, and a suggestion on how to respond to God’s call each day. Each devotion is one page, so it’s easy to do even on your busiest days, and I’m really looking forward to this one! I started it the other day and I’m loving it so far… January 3 reeeeally spoke to me… it was like it was written just for me and my Type A, Eldest Daughter self.
2026 Wall
Calendar
I will always have a calendar hanging in my office. I refer to mine numerous times each day, so mine hangs prominently over my desk where I work all day. I had to grab one for 2026, and I opted for this one as it’s the perfect size, and it’s cute!
Good Lookin’
Cookin’ Cookbook, A Year of Meals by Dolly Parton & Rachel Parton George
This cookbook was a gift for a friend. I love Dolly Parton so much, and her recipes are very realistic (nothing overly complicated), and everything in the book sounds delicious.
Cloud Socks
These were a gift for a friend as well. I’ve been seeing people talk about these Cloud socks saying that they’re every bit as nice as the Barefoot Dreams socks that I love so much, so I thought they’d make a cozy little gift! They come in lots of different colors, too!
Stainless
Steel Guasha
I purchased this stainless steel guasha to try to tame the tension in my face and jaw once and for all. I haven’t used it yet, but I plan to use it each evening after doing my skin care routine. I’m hoping it will help my jaw relax before bed, and maybe, just maybe it could help with my nightly teeth clenching? Fingers crossed.
Smarty Pants
Multi-Vitamins
I took Smarty Pants vitamins for years, but they switched to gummies only a couple of years ago, so I changed vitamin brands as I’m not a big fan of gummies. Well, I was recently reminded of the importance of Omega-3, and my current vitamins don’t offer that, so after a ton of research, I decided to go back to my beloved Smarty Pants brand even though they’re gummies.
Weighted
Blanket
High on Olivia’s Christmas wish list was a weighted blanket, and we ended up purchasing this one for her. The rule of thumb for a weighted blanket is that it should be about 10% of your body weight. Therefore, kids need much lighter blankets than adults. Brian and I looked all over the internet, and a 7-8 pound blanket was really hard to find, but we did find this one, and it turned out to be perfect for Olivia. This one is made specifically for kids, and it has a warm, cozy, minky side for cold nights and a cooler side for warmer nights. It comes in lots of different colors, weights, and sizes, so there’s an option for everyone, adults included! It’s machine washable, it’s dryer safe (on low heat only), and if you opt to air dry it like we do it air dries way faster than I thought it would! This blanket has been a HUGE hit with Olivia. She has carried it all over the house with her since she got it and she sleeps with it every single night. She has told me numerous times how much she loves it. And this one is so affordable compared to most, too!
University
of Georgia Licensed Sunglasses
Jacob wears sunglasses nonstop when he’s outside and he was in need of a new pair, so these were a Christmas gift. They fit perfectly and he loves them!
Rainbow Loom
Pastel Bands
Olivia asked for more pastel Rainbow Loom bands for Christmas, so she got this set. She was working on a project right before Christmas and she ran out of some of the colors of bands she needed, so now she’ll be able to finish it. This Rainbow Loom has seriously been one of the best things she’s ever gotten. She has used it for years and she has made some really neat things with it.
Clash Royale
Tee
Every single high school and middle school kid we know is currently obsessed with Clash Royale. Jacob asked for this Clash tee for Christmas, so we got it for him.
Pajama Pants
This pack of basic shorts was purchased for Jacob since he needed some extra pajama pants.
Demogorgon
Pen
This demogorgon pen was a stocking stuffer for B since he loves Stranger Things so much. I don’t think he really uses pens a lot as most of his work is done on a computer, but it’ll look cute in his office. ;o)
Nail
Clippers
I also bought these to put in Brian’s stocking. They are heavy duty nail clippers that catch the nails in a little pocket as you cut them. You can then empty the pocket when you’re done.
O’Keefe’s Working
Hands Cream
This is my favorite hand cream (I use the version in the tube) so I bought this hand cream tub for Brian’s stocking.
Happy Tuesday, y’all!

I love the wall calendar you got! I found a similar one at Walmart a couple of days ago and have it hanging in our kitchen, but it doesn't have the neat to-do's on the side like yours. I have a deskpad one that I keep in my office. Those socks also look so cozy!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful rest of your week, my friend :)
Make Life Marvelous
Great finds! I had a similar wall calendar to that in the past. The nail clipper is a great idea. If Simon didn't lose his all the time I'd get him one!
ReplyDeleteThose boots look great and I love the look of that headband. That cookbook was a great gift and I have been thinking about getting a weighted blanket. That hand cream is fantastic, I buy my dad some every year and he loves it.
ReplyDeleteWe have that blender and love it. I got the Dolly book from the library and really enjoyed it. The nail clipper is genius. We have a similar rug and have bought multiple versions for the house. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteThat blender looks so nice and I need to keep that in mind, along with the rug. I want to buy a new rug this summer.
ReplyDeleteI want to try those headbands! I hate ones that are tight, because I get headaches easily with tension stuff!! I do 99% of my runs outside in the winter, so I'm always looking for warm gear!
