Five on Friday - April Goals

Today I’m recapping my March goals and listing my April goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 



 

March Goals

Personal Health / Wellness / Fitness / Beauty

Y  Be intentional about creating joy every day.

Y  Meditate and read devotional every day.

Y  Continue Bible study.

Y  Lent study.

X  Go to annual GYN appointment. – They had to reschedule because my doctor was sick.

Y  Go to my semi-annual dentist appointment.

Y  Go to orthodontist checkup.

Y  Visit with upper cervical chiropractor.

Y  Visit with therapist.

N  Taper my vertigo medicine 1/4 pill per day to 1/4 pill every other day. – I realized that I didn’t want to do this right before our Disney trip in case I have nasty side effects again, so I’m holding off on this until April.

Y  Walk 41 miles. – I walked 49.97 miles!  (And this only includes exercise workouts… it doesn’t include all the walking I do each day in general.)

Y  Strength train.

Y  Attend monthly Home and School Advisory Board meeting.

Y  Kids to go semi-annual dentist appointments.

Y  Finish planning Mother/Son dance.

Y  Co-chair Mother/Son Dance.

 

Home / Organization / Planning

N  Clean out kitchen.

Y  Deep clean blinds in living room.

Y  Deep clean blinds in dining room.

N  Deep clean blinds in front room.

Y  Deep clean blinds in kitchen.

N  Deep clean all windows in the house. – I did most, but still have a couple of rooms to go.

Y  Work on reorganizing List Master app.

Y  Update 50 album artwork in iTunes. – I updated 84!

N  Put down new rug in living room.

Y  Plan, prep, shop, and pack for Disney trip.

Y  Plan, prep, and shop for Easter.

 

Blog / Social Media

N  Work on end of year blog post.

Y  Finish catching up on blog page links.

Y  Start posting on Instagram more frequently.

Y  Complete one blog post for summer break.

 

Fun Stuff!

X  Have dinner with my girls. – We had to postpone because everyone either got sick or had stuff pop up that they had to do instead.

Y  Have a poker night with friends.

Y  Go to a hockey game with friends.

Y  See the Broadway play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Y  Go to Disney World!!!!

N  Go on a date with B.

N  Work on our puzzle.

Y  Read 2 books. – I read 2!

Set up new drawer organizer in kitchen.

Deep clean blinds in front room.

Deep clean all windows in the house.

Change out two light fixtures upstairs.

Work on reorganizing List Master app.

Back up all photos on computer to hard drives and Amazon Drive.

Put down new rug in living room.

Start prepping for Olivia’s recital.

  2. You did a great job! Good luck on April's goals. I had to laugh at that weather meme-- ours has been crazy lately. It was 88 yesterday and today is in the 60's.. and then it's going to be 40 on Monday.
